End of Summer Reading Celebration!

Our program has two parts: Summer Reading Challenge and Summer Activities.

The Summer Reading Challenge is the “reading” part of our program. Children will read books and keep a log of the books they read. There will be an event on July 20th to celebrate our readers.

Our Summer Activities portion will have games, projects, and learning opportunities that relate to this year’s theme. Those are listed on the other side of this brochure. These will have sign up sheets for each day. These are limited in size.

We do require that you be a member of the Geneva Public Library before registration. It’s free!

Special Note to Parents and Guardians:

Make sure that your child wears play clothes. Some of our activities may involve dirt or paint or other messy things.

Paint, paint brushes, and other items needed to do projects will be provided.

Some Things to Remember!

A parent / guardian must be in the activity area with their children. You may not “drop” your child off and then leave.

Children that are disruptive or destructive will be asked to leave. If the disruptive or destructive behavior repeats, the library director will remove the child from this year’s reading program.

The Geneva Public Library provides it’s services for free. However, overdue fines are in effect. If you lose or damage a book, you pay for it. The overdue rate for children is 5¢ per day per book.
